Introducing Heketi House, a Parenting Montessori Collective

At Heketi House, we support families with children from birth to age three through 1:1 Montessori parent coaching, home design, workshops, and school partnerships. Our mission is to nurture each child’s growth while uplifting the wisdom and strengths families already hold.

Rooted in Boricua and Taíno heritage, Heketi—meaning "one"—centers BIPOC values, culture, and community. We celebrate unity without uniformity, honoring ancestral traditions, nature, and interconnectedness. The Taíno Baby symbol in our logo reflects this legacy and our commitment to early childhood education, beginning at birth. This symbol is central to my Montessori practices, serving as a reminder of the importance of nurturing young minds from birth, as Maria Montessori famously said: "Education must start from birth."

While our foundation is grounded in BIPOC culture, we are a space for all families seeking belonging, growth, and connection as they learn alongside their little ones.

“We absolutely love the Montessori Revolution [former package option]. It really changed the way we set up our environment and home for our kids. One of the biggest wins for us was decluttering our space and realizing after that the clutter of our space had caused a lot of stress for our son (2 years old) and when we got rid of a ton of clutter and set everything out nicely, he was able to focus more and genuinely was more happy.”
